Food That Brings Summer to Life

Celebrate the season with golden, gluten-free, pasture-raised fried chicken, raised right here at Maple Wind Farm—just 1 mile from downtown Richmond, VT.

Each chicken plate includes a breast and drumstick, fresh organic green salad, maple cornbread, and lemonade or water. Need more? Drumstick seconds are up for grabs while they last, and a vegetarian option features a Moroccan lentil salad (vegetarian option is different for each event). Children’s plates available too! Local favorite Stone Corral Brewery will be pouring cold, craft beers to round out the feast. (Under 3's eat free).

Community, Connection, and Bluegrass Vibes

This is more than just a meal—it’s an evening to slow down, laugh, and gather. Kick off summer with us on Friday, July 18 from 5:00–7:30 PM (food served 5–7 PM). Feel the rhythm with live bluegrass from Especially Cowboys, a Burlington-based bluegrass band that always brings the energy. Bring your friends, meet new neighbors, and take in the farm views while the music and conversation flow. Please leave your dogs at home.

Purpose on Every Plate

When you join us for this second of four community evenings, you’re supporting something bigger. Our fried chicken is more than a meal—it’s the product of regenerative farming, where animal welfare, soil health, and local food systems come first. This event support Rural Vermont, learn more about them here.
